Traveler Steps 1-2

We did Steps 1-2 at our meeting.

Step 1 is to research destination. We chose to make travel inspiration boards of 10 cities we want to go to (attached).

Step 2 was to look into fun itineraries. For that step we chose to make an itinerary for a place we know well. The itinerary had to be for 2 days and 1 night. We also had to have someone else who knew the area take a look at it too. I did mine on Colorado Springs where my family often vacations and my dad looked over it.

My itinerary was as follows.

Fly into Colorado Springs airport

Go to Manitou Springs - 3 hours

Pikes Peak - 2 hours

Lunch @ The Mason Jar - 1.5 hours

Garden of the Gods Trading Post - 1 hour

Garden of the Gods Visitor Center (w/ snack) - 1 hour

Stay @ Embassy Suites - Overnight

Manitou Cliff Dwellings - 1 hour

Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center - 1 hour

Canton City (w/ Royal Gorge) - 4 hours

El Paso County Fair - 3 hours

Depart from Colorado Springs Airport
