Step 1 is to create a cookie resume. I found some job descriptions and identified skills I already had due to cookie sales. I then made a "resume" based on these.

Responsible for Data Entry-

Cookie sales gives me this ability because I have practice entering order correctly into spreadsheets at the end of sales.

Risk Management-

Cookie Sales makes me good at risk management because I have to make sure people will pay for their cookies when they come in, and only take orders from those I believe will. So I have to consider the risk of each order.

Excellent Communication Skills-

Cookie Sales give me these skills because I have to talk directly to customers both with door-to-door and family sales as well as booth sales. I have to be clear when stating prices and what products are available in a given year.

Maximizing Cash Flow while improving Customer Relations-

I have to sell as many cookies as I can. I also have to talk to buyers and relate to them so they will buy from me again the following year.

Charging-

I am good at charging due to cookie sales because I have to calculate the cost of the total order of the cookies and collect that much from them at delivery.
