Website Designer Step 3

Step Three for the Website Designer Badge was to learn about blogging. I choose to find a mentor. My HWOC (Honors LA) teacher, Mrs. Buczinsky, often writes articles in a blogging fashion, so I talked to her. I asked her questions such as the following:

~ How do you decide what to write about?

~ How do you decide what kind of image to use?

~ If you take pictures, how do choose which ones to use?

~ and others of the type.

As a technology head for her division, she said she often writes for other teachers to help them use technology in their own classrooms. She says you have to consider who your are writing for, who your audience is. For images, she recommends creating your own, so you don't have to deal with copyright laws. Another thing she recommends is recreating the images you want to use. When choosing which images to use, she recommends ones you can do cool editing things with. This is a basic overview of my interview of Mrs. Buczinsky.
